Samsung has unveiled its new premium touch screen phone, the F480 Tocco.

The 5-megapixel camera device is available from early June and will be pushed with a £3.5 million advertising campaign. All networks and major retailers are likely to range it.

The Tocco will inevitably draw comparisons with the iPhone. The F480 compares favourably on the camera front, has a more slimline frame and will cost less.

Whether it can match the Apple device’s user friendliness remains to be seen.

If there's one thing the Samsung Armani phone has in abundance, it most definitely is style. Slim, compact and high-tech, the fully touch-operated Armani phone is not just the final touch to your look - it's the finish with a flourish. Anyway, with us the tech junky tends to get the upper hand over the fashion savvy, and we are eager to find out if there's more to it than what meets the eye. The really promising Samsung Armani phone seems the right mix between technology and looks, but we're ...

Samsung G800 [Review With Video]

Samsung have taken the phone world by storm by announcing at the end of October the release of the world's first 5 megapixel camera with optical zoom in a mobile phone. If the plan was to draw attention away from the release of the iPhone, then this has certainly done the trick! Launching in the UK on 12th November 2007, the G800 will be the most advanced camera phone in the world.

Samsung have pulled off both a technological and design marvel with the G800. Its closest rivals are the Nokia ...

I like the phone a lot. I have the black one, got it about 6 months ago. I like the sleek, thin, unique design. Though there are some downfalls to the phone. The fact that you can not multi-task a lot is a big one for me, especially when using the phone. Only because you have to flip the phone in order to access most of your things so that is a big downfall. Other than that I like it a lot. Good pictures, sound, etc. Just don't like the multi-tasking part.

The back of the phone includes elements, inherent to advanced camera bodies

Special leather-like cover ensuring better grip, as well as its lens and xenon flash comfortably covered by a stylish lens lid.

The front panel grabs attention with its large display. The form factor is easily identifiable as a slider, but it might as well offer a touch-based user interface in addition there is no keypad.

You may remember a post about a TechFaith Wireless handset which could house 2 sim cards, well here is another mobile from Samsung which is reported to do a similar job! The Samsung incarnation will only handle two GSM sims and not have any capacity for a 3G chip as opposed to the TechFaith handset which will accomodate a GSM and WCDMA sim card combo!!

Samsung have designed the interface to be as simple to use as possible and users can name each SIM whichever way they like, so they don't have ...

Samsung have announced that they are to team up with Georgio Armani to make a series of electronic devices including mobile phones and flatscreen televisions.

The two companies have both said that the phone will be about the size of a credit card and about 10.5 mm thick, it's reported to have a 3mp camera and all the usual multimedia capabilities of a decent phone such as internet browsing, ext memory slot and music playback.

Looks like an LG Prada if you ask me!!
